Michaela has gotten herself into trouble one too many times and finds herself grounded. Now this doesn’t sound too bad except Michaela is an angel and when angels get grounded they are sent to live on earth as a mortal human. When Archangel Gabriel comes to send her on her way, she receives an assignment in the form of Ty Brock. Michaela needs to help Ty live in the present instead of the past. In order to do this, Michaela works along side him on a daily basis slowly discovering that Ty is a man she might not want to leave, even if she completes her assignment.

Ty Brock has come a long way in his life. From a rodeo star and cattle rancher to an ex-con with a gambling problem, he feels he has betrayed everyone he cares about, which is pretty much the entire town of Unegi, Arizona. Secluding himself away from everyone, he spends all his time trying to rebuild his ranch but needs someone to help him. Only the individual who comes to help him isn’t what he expects, instead she is a beautiful woman that sets his body on fire.

Michaela – Grounded: Book One offers readers a wonderful, unique plot mixed with humor, a sweet angel readers will instantly love, and a man with a heart of gold if only he knew it. Michaela might be a small, delicate woman but her personality and compassion for everyone, including animals knows no limit. Ty has a protective streak where Michaela is concerned. The final result is a match truly made in heaven. The additional characters, who happen to be in the form of animals, allow readers to bond with both Ty and Michaela. Leanne Karella has done a tremendous job writing a contemporary romance with a splash of paranormal elements and humor. Readers will not be disappointed with Michaela. This reader can only hope that the next installment in the Grounded series is not far away. 5 Angels!
