Dance of the Crystal

Crystal D’Angelo is a spunky, but very bashful, young socialite. Crystal is turning thirty and as one of her presents, her grandmother, Rowena, is taking her to a dinner and bachelor auction. Crystal tries to get out of it but her grandmother is not taking no for an answer. While they are at the auction, Crystal looks up and they lock eyes with the next bachelor, Soren Thorvald and she is wowed right out of her shoes. She is wearing a crystal pendent necklace that her grandmother gave her for her thirteenth birthday. The pendent gets very hot to the point it almost burns her skin when she looks at Soren. This throws Crystal for a loop. She is in total shock, when Rowena tosses the bid paddle as the announcer, announces that she has won the bid for the bachelor Soren.

Soren Thorvald cannot believe he let his brother talk him in to doing the auction. He is wearing a tie, being auctioned off to the highest bidder, but at least it is for a good cause. Soren is woman-shy, has been ever since he witnessed his father and mother fighting and she up and left them when he was nine years old. He learned a very important lesson that day, love hurts. Soren will not give love a chance to hurt him like it did his brother and father. Soren and Crystal talk and make plans for their dinner; they are both very drawn to each other. Crystal is in love at first sight but does not think she is handling this relationship right. Soren cannot keep his hands to himself and starts to think maybe Crystal is different. Will Soren recognize the love he has for Crystal before it is too late?

Cris Anson has done a fantastic job with Dance of the Crystal. Dance of the Crystal is a stand alone book, but it is the third book in Ms. Anson's dance series.

The first and second books in the series are Dance of the Seven Veils and Dance of the Butterfly. I would defiantly get and read the first two books in this series. Ms. Anson knocks you for a loop with such memorable characters that she will have the readers coming back for more. Dance of the Crystal has an alpha hero that you just want all to yourself and a strong innocent heroine that goes after what she wants. Ms. Anson will surprise you in the end with this hot romance. She has just the right amount of mystery to keep you reading and a lot of hot sensual romance that you will need an air conditioner just to cool down. I truly enjoyed Dance of the Crystal and I will be getting the first two in this series so I can watch the magic flow from the pages once again. Awesome job Ms. Anson, I will be looking for your next book and I cannot wait to get my hot little hands it.
