In the book BuildUp 2: Pulling Strings, Jules Jones has created a very thrilling Homoerotic Science Fiction. BuildUp 2 takes place on a world whose government is under, shall we say, siege from a foreign power called the Protectorate. Nick Farr is a politician who has been framed for fraud and embezzlement. Ralph, another member of the government, has managed to convince Nick to gather his belongings together and out of the building a quick as they can. Ralph filled Nick in on what he knew about the possible take over by the Protectorate and how it could affect everyone on the planet. Nick had two options. One was to leave the planet, which he immediately refused. Two was to find someone who could help him uncover any tampering that was done to the computers. He was able to find help when he found Justin Hobb.

Justin is a known hacker for hire. Depending on how much he was paid in advance would depend on how loyal he would be. Justin has his own code- everything needed to be spelled out in advance so there would not be any questions about how much he would invest in each job. Once Justin took on a job he was committed and would give it his all. He was known to never turn over information that he was paid to keep silent about. Justin agreed to try to find out if any tampering in the computer database could be found. This Justin found, but that began a chain of events that neither Nick nor Justin could have imagined.

Both Nick and Justin were pulled into a tug of power between the Protectorate and the planetary government. To make things even more complicated, Nick and Justin are drawn together by circumstances and mutual desire. Once Justin and Nick come together, in the most intimate sense, things really heat up between them. The erotic scenes between Nick and Justin are not only very hot, but touching as well as funny. The interaction between them is so clearly written that the reader can almost see it. The ability to almost see the action as it unfolds makes the sections even more enjoyable.

BuildUp 2: Pulling Strings was a very enjoyable and entertaining book to read. The end of the story left more unfinished business. It is this readers hope that this story will be continued for the readers further entertainment. Thank you for writing a story that will encourage the reader to dare to dream.
