To Catch a Cowboy

Being impulsive has never failed Brooke Adams, so when she sees the cowboy of her dreams she doesn’t hesitate to find a way to get to know him better. Now as she accompanies Ritt Duncan across the country, she wonders if she might have taken on more than she can handle. Sure, she can do her job and conduct the investigation and find the guilty party, but is she prepared for the risk Ritt poses to her heart?

To Catch a Cowboy is a wonderful example of love and lust at first sight. Brooke is a fun, dynamic character that doesn’t hesitate to go after what she wants. I found myself really enjoying her enthusiasm for life. Ritt establishes his presence with few words and lots of action. In the span of a few days, these two are thunderstruck by emotions and passion. Amazingly, they appear to be well matched. The love scenes between them may be brief, but the author knows how to make each word count. Despite an ending that left me with a few questions, this short story confirms why I always enjoy books by Natalie Damschroder.
