Prince of Ash - Book Two of the Shadow Fae Trilogy

In Elaine Corvidae’s, Prince of Ash, Pooka, an unseelie faeling, spends his nights fighting the seelie faelings and his days running with his gang. He believes that he was abandon by his fae mom because of something wrong with him. Will he believe he is worthless and lose everything or will he believe Alex?

Alexandreya Alekseevicha fled her home for Dere, leaving behind a terrible secret. Upon arriving in Dere, she meets Pooka when he rescues her from the local police. However, she soon finds herself alone until family she thought dead locates her. Even so, she cannot forget the beautiful boy who first rescued her.

Elaine Corvidae deftly depicts the profound psychological wounds that twist how we see ourselves. As long as Alex and Pooka find themselves to be unacceptable to the other, they will remain alone. It will take a small miracle for their eyes to be opened. Throughout the story, I wanted to reassure Pooka and Alex that they were more than worthy. Prince Of Ash is a spellbinding saga of love, acceptance, forgiveness, and inner beauty.

Prince Of Ash is an evocative and powerful sequel to Winter’s Orphans. Every time I read one of Elaine Corvidae’s books, I am amazed by her ability to render the emotions, attitudes, and actions that keep people locked in misery while providing hope for a better future. At the same time, Ms. Corvidae creates characters you love and empathize with, while creating suspenseful tales of self-realization and growth.
