For Love Of A Cowboy

Carrie Jameson is newly single and plans to check out the new cowboy in town, Clint Brandon, whom everyone is raving about. He's currently singing at The Broken Spur Bar, accompanied by his also very good-looking father. With her partiality for musically inclined cowboys, this is one man she has to check out for herself. But with her mother coming along with her, will she get the chance to do anything more than look and sigh? Or could it even be that she won’t be the only one who'll come away trumps tonight?

For Love of A Cowboy is a very short story that shows Cia Leah's promise as an author. Her heroine is fresh and bold, with a penchant for hot, sexy cowboys (ring a bell, anyone?). Her dialogue is witty and contemporary. There isn't any sex – not even a kiss – but there is the promise of a newly begun relationship, which is almost as good. There are a few grammatical errors in the story, but otherwise the telling of the tale is smooth. If you are always on the run, with literally only minutes to spare, this is a real quick read that could see you happily on your way.
