The Conjuration Of Mary Moore

Damien Moore has grieved the loss of his wife Mary for many years. She was burnt to death for being a witch by a religious sect whilst he was away teaching, and he has raged at the injustice of her death and longed for her ever since. Now he has found a way to conjure her, uniting with her once more. But will their reunion last? Or must they again be parted?

Christopher Lee Carr's The Conjuration Of Mary Moore is a very short tale of one man's everlasting love for his now long-departed wife. Though this tale can be rather difficult to follow in some places, Damien's feelings for his wife shine through the story and are very touching. There are some sex scenes. Rather peculiarly, some aspects of these sex scenes are described, and other aspects are glossed over. Explicit language is not used, neither are coarse words. The reunion of this pair, who obviously love one another very much, even through Mary's death, is very moving. Christopher Lee Carr's The Conjuration Of Mary Moore provides hope to the reader that they will be able to reunite with their own loved one once they, too, have passed on.
