Nick Tanner has been traveling light years to find help to assist Earth to be free of the Areth. More than anything he prays his loved ones and family are still alive and well. He is surprised to find many changes upon his arrival. His son, Michael is no longer the young child he left behind, but a mature man facing many haunting dreams. Michael is glad to hear of his father’s return but too many things have passed that trouble him. Jacqueline Anderson is a woman who understands the ordeal that Michael has been plagued with and she wishes to help him. But even as Nick arrives to see his family, there is still upheaval as Earth tries to regain the peace they once had before Areth. And as the battle rages on, only one race can triumph if they want to exist.

The Phoenix Rebellion Book IV: End Game is the final installment of the series. I have to admit I wanted to flip immediately to the last page and see the outcome, but I said no, absolutely not. The intense wait was hard but worth every single page. I fell in love with all of the characters, and as I waited on the edge of my seat, I could visualize myself exploring everything, right along with them. The peril and the chaos were like a huge adrenaline rush that just kept going. Michael endured much and the love of Jacqueline helped. Nick again comes through with shining colors, and the ceremony with CJ was heart-tugging. Ms. Delaney fashioned so many fantastic characters that touch the heart. With her flair of writing this series, she makes the tales believable in every shape and form. I almost hated to say good-bye to the series; then again, they left such a wonderful impression, that they will stay long with me. Every one of these books are grand and astonishing in itself. Loaded in non-stop action and intrigue around every corner, this story satisfies. Ms. Delaney makes all the characters and the story feel as if the reader is part of the family, and when united, it gives a peaceful feeling of going home.
