One & Only

After living for a thousand years, Atticus is ready to die. Yet, he knows that if he gives in and dies, the only other person still clinging to life from the crash will also die. He remembers that the woman struggling is the only woman in eons to intrigue him. He cannot allow her to perish. If only to try and understand what it is about her that keeps her in the forefront of his mind.

Lissa knew there was something different about him when he stepped on her foot in the passenger van, but she never could have imagined what was to come. A quiet woman, in fact, a self-proclaimed mouse, she could never imagine a man as virile and self confident as Atticus speaking to her, let alone being attracted to her.

These two people, each searching for that intangible One, may find themselves in their search.

In fifteen short pages Bianca D’Arc takes us on an emotional journey that will touch everyone. We’ve all searched for that one person who will make us whole, whether it’s consciously or not. Weaving the mundane with the mystical, One & Only is a wonderful introduction to Bianca's vampires. I look forward anxiously to reading Rare Vintage, the next book in this series.
