Felicia DuBois has problems; the cat sanctuary she works for is running out of money. An organization that regulates such places is looking into the running of the sanctuary, and to top it all off she has an empty bed that desperately needs filling. As time goes on it becomes clear that someone is trying to sabotage the sanctuary and scupper their chances of getting more funding, but who? Felicia sets about trying to discover the culprit and on the way discovers a lot more about the people she works with and their associates then she ever thought she would.

Cat Scratch Fever is just as hot and steamy as the images its name elicits. Set in Southern California, this is an erotic novel that also has a good amount of intrigue and will keep the readers curious as well as mildly surprised. Although this book is the first novel for Sophie Mouette, it is a very strong story and is a definite hit. Sophie Mouette is the pen-name of Dayle A. Dermatis and Teresa Noelle Roberts; the combination is fantastic and they work very well together.

The passion in this book is over flowing with both m/f, m/f/f and a fair amount of bondage all of which are handled wonderfully giving the reader some highly charged scenes. The progression of the story line and the depth of the characters work well, leaving the reader knowing they are not just reading an erotica novel. Once I started reading this book I really didn’t want to put it down and in fact just kept reading until the end; readers will definitely not be disappointed.
