This erotic quickie begins with a street prostitute getting an unexpected and viciously sexy surprise, and this surprise is detailed rather explicitly and luxuriously over the course of the short story. Written in a style that is as consistent with straight horror as much as erotica, A Love Story: Be Careful What You Wish For is not for the faint of heart and wastes no time getting into lusty, bloody vampiric detail.

There are realistic details here and there such as the kid in the Slayer T-shirt going into one of the peep show booths and the inclusion of Twinkies and milk on the store counter, but other than that, it’s sheer sexual heat, with lots of emphasis on the vampire’s studly technique and how it turns his victim on.

At 11 pages total, there’s not a lot of time to dawdle. Much of the action takes place in a porno shop, which increases the kinky possibilities. When the unnamed hooker realizes her dark lover is not a normal man, the ensuing description is quite scary. Author Mistress Rae knows how to spin a hot, sparse tale. A Love Story: Be Careful What You Wish For is as frightening as it is erotic.
