Jake Chance is an officer who takes his job seriously. Here is a woman that is tempting him from swaying from his job. With her he is somewhat a hero protecting her with his strength and love. She only wants one night with him in his arms but Jake wants her forever and must do everything to convince her that they’re meant for one another.

Chance of a Lifetime by Joey W. Hill might be short and hot, yet it sure packs a whole story in it. From the start I felt sad for Stacie and her ordeal with her parents. Here she is a loving daughter who has sacrificed her whole life for her parents to care for them in their difficult time. Her mother is dying and her father has Alzheimer’s making her life harder than ever. I loved Jake for not only his caring way in handling Stacie but because he knows love when it hits him hard. Joey Hill did a great job, even though it was short story, making it stand out in your head for her imagination sure goes wild yet it always has a good ending when it comes to two people so right for one another. Great job.
