Can Apollo, God of Light and Music lure her into believing in faith, love and possibilities?

Worshipped by Michelle Houston

Gods never do anything out of the goodness of their hearts; however there is one person they will make an exception for. Alicia is not your typical woman, she has endured pain and heartbreak and Athena knows it’s time for her to live again. Can Alicia learn to leave the past behind and learn to love again, especially with two certain gods, Himeros and Pothos?

Ouch, this book is hotter than the first one. They may be strong and have a mythical legend, but what really got to this reviewer was that each author in the book didn’t always talk about their legendary traits, but showed them as a human being struck by love. I loved all the stories in this book, but my favorite of all had to be Blindsided by C.J. England. It was hard to pick with such talented authors in this second book in the series. I loved that you had an average heroine, not beautiful or famous, but one that needed a new change in her life. There wasn’t pity for this heroine and I liked the fact that she was shown a new world and had to decide whether Apollo is worth it to sacrifice a life without him or with him. I loved it and can’t wait for more Masquerade Balls, each invitation that goes to a mortal surely will lead to a life of adventure and passion.
