With dreams of having her every fantasy fulfilled, the last voice Tora expects to hear is that of her adversary Jovan Creel. How he came to be in this elusive New York nightspot doesn’t matter. All she knows is her life in Georgia and any reminder of work should have stayed in the south where she left it. Soon her wet panties and uncontrollable sexual desires give way to the chance that maybe Jovan can be the type of master she needs. Too bad Jovan’s decency and emotional connection to Tora is so evident that she soon finds herself looking for something more, something rougher for the bad girl inside of her that needs to be punished. The words “Be careful what you wish for” take on a whole new meaning!

Topping Tora is a ride on the wilder and darker side of sexual freedom. With that freedom also comes responsibility by parties involved to maintain a certain measure of safety over sexual expression. Tora is your typical spoiled woman who wants it all and doesn’t see a good thing when it’s slapping its chocolatey appendage in her greedy little face. Jovan is a sweet man who is emotionally connected to Tora and his attempts at showing her he can dominate her in a loving way while still providing the sting of pain with the thrill of submission seem to fall short. Tora wants to play hardball and decides try a Dom who is way more than what she bargained for. The reversal of the story, from situations I found myself laughing at to a dark and brutal setting that was completely over the head of the heroine, was a shock to my senses. Ms. Bacchi exemplifies the word gifted! I’m not sure where she got her creative insight for this story but I hope the juices continues to flow with additional works of art that not only thrill but astonish readers. This is a book that not only exposes some of the spiciest parts of the BDSM world but also shows how if you don’t respect the world and basic rules you can soon find yourself in a painful situation where all hope seems lost.
