Kelly hasn’t had a moment of peace since the Master vampire of the region, Marc Latour, showed up at the vineyard. Kelly notices the way Marc looks at her with so much desire in his eyes but she has no desire to be his next meal.

Marc has arrived at the vineyard to try and talk his friend Atticus into stepping into the role of Master vampire since he was married, that made him more powerful. Marc hadn’t counted on the mortal Kelly calling to his senses in a way that he hasn’t felt in all of his five hundred years.

When Kelly delivers a message to Atticus, she discovers that another vampire is ready to challenge Marc in order to take over the role of Master vampire and she comes to the realization that she is not quite ready to let Marc go without getting to know him better and take him up on his offer of pleasure.

Rare Vintage by Bianca D’Arc is a compelling, sensual story that will leave readers needing a good cooling off. The characters in this story are incredibly developed for such a short story and extremely appealing. This is one book you won’t want to put down until you have read every last word, which is just what I did.

Rare Vintage is the second book in the Vampire Tales series and I cannot wait to go back and read the first book One & Only and will be eagerly awaiting the third book Phantom Desires. This book gets a well deserved 5 Angels!
