When Kieran gets the call to find the heart stone his client is seeking, he figures that it will be another easy job for him to complete, until he meets Joshua Brassington, the man who has possession of the artifact, and he learns that more than a job is at stake. While trying to acquire the heart stone, Kieran also learns some very important news that will leave him trying to decide if his whole life was a lie.

The Collector 2: Grave Heart is a rousing addition to The Collector series. This story takes a bit of a dark turn compared to the first story but complements the characters perfectly. Kieran is the tortured soul who has given up believing in love or life and Joshua is the content one that is willing to give Kieran the chance he deserves, if he can pull himself through the mire he has buried himself in. Author Emily Veinglory has done a great job in creating this homoerotic love story with fascinating characters that tug on the heart strings of readers. I give this story 5 Angels and am looking forward to reading the third book in this series.
