As the widowed father of four children and boss of a construction company, Justin Wheaton is always busy. When his eldest daughter Raven gets in trouble at school, Justin is more than fed up, he’s furious. Lately, she’s become the definition of a troubled teen: sullen, angry and aggravating. Justin starts to give Raven’s teacher a piece of his mind only to discover that the lovely woman is not a teacher, but is in fact, is the mother of the teen who skipped class with Raven. Though Justin is angry, he’s more intrigued than anything else.

Amy Van Buren and her son Alex have just moved to Destin, Texas to make a new life for themselves. After a nasty divorce from an even nastier man, Amy wants no men in her life. Unfortunately, her attraction to Justin is too strong to ignore so when he asks her out, she accepts. What follows is a blinding attraction neither expected nor craved, but for which neither can turn away from, despite both Justin and Amy’s protests that they want a no strings attached affair. Justin is having trouble with his company, with his daughter, and the last thing he needs is to fall in love with Amy, but it seems his heart isn’t about to be ignored. Will these two get their act together before something happens to ruin the best thing to happen to them in a long while?

One Texan’s Enough is a spicy and fast-paced, family-oriented romance. As the father of four children, Justin is busy dealing with his growing family when true love comes to call. As with real life, it’s hard to fit love and a relationship into work and family, and Sarah Storme does a great job of portraying the struggles Justin and Amy have to go through to be together. A sensual and somewhat humorous motel scene is par for the course between this couple. Full of Texas charm, a dastardly villain, and plenty of family hijinks, One Texan’s Enough is a solid story from Sarah Storme. The main couple is very engaging and their attraction is smoking hot. I was hooked from page one by this sweet and loving contemporary romance.
