The Veil: Angels and Demons
Beltaine has devoted her life to protecting mortals from demons that have managed to cross over the thin line that exists between Earth and Hell. Being half-demon and half-mortal, Beltaine has seen just about everything. Now someone is trying to take over Hell and Beltaine must work with Kalan, the sexiest angel she has ever seen. Beltaine wants Kalan, but knows that the angel is resisting the temptation she offers because of her parentage. As the two fight the evil threatening mortals, they are unable to deny what is growing between them.
Kalan has been sent by the Host of Heaven on a mission to save mortals from the demons of Hell. A madman is trying to destroy the thin veil that protects mortals from the demons of Hell. Having to work with Beltaine is not something Kalan is looking forward to. First the half-mortal, half-demon woman wants to be in control of their joint mission and her curves are distracting him from the job he has been sent to do. Kalan finds himself wanting to give into the temptation that Beltaine offers, but wonders where that will leave him?
Tiffany Aaron gives the reader a glimpse into a world threatened by the demons of Hell. Beltaine and Kalan are both strong-willed individuals that are driven to complete their individual missions but find lust and love claiming their attention. The differences the couple has to overcome does not stop the love that is growing between them. Each want to save the world from the evil that threatens to overtake it. Beltaine knows the evil that lives within men’s hearts and fights to stop it. Ms. Aaron creates such a vivid picture that the reader will not want to put The Veil down.
