Holiday Love Lessons

Caitlyn is a young, successful businesswoman whose last boyfriend was something of an idiot. She cannot escape the criticism he threw at her before they broke up: frigid, cold, and unable to feel passion. A month on, Caitlyn decides to put herself to the test. She is going to ask her two friends, Tim and Jonathon, to have a ménage with her, to teach her how to be sexy and wild. Tim is bisexual and Jonathon is gay – or so she and everyone else believes. Brothers, they share the same position of Co-Executive Vice President of Morgan Publishing. Both are stunning to look at, but good friends and easy going along with it. When they first started working together eight months ago, Caitlyn had a crush on Jonathon. When she found out he was gay she was disappointed. She moved on, going out with the guy who turned out to be a prick. Caitlyn decides to approach Tim about a ménage first, since he is the less intimidating of the two. At first he is shoc! ked, but intrigued. Upon finding out about her request Jonathon is ecstatic. For unbeknownst to most, he is not gay, never has been. He’s as straight as they come, and he has had deep, tender feelings for Caitlyn for months. This is just the opportunity he’s been waiting for. The trio head out to the Trelain cabin and waste little time getting into the spirit of a ménage a trios. Caitlyn finds she’s not passionless just the opposite. With Tim and Jonathon she is so hot she burns. Just what do the three get up to over the weekend? By the time the entire Trelain family arrives for Christmas at the lodge, what is the status of the relationship between Caitlyn and Jonathon? Does she love him...as he loves her? Or, having affirmed her sexuality, does she stick to her plans to go to her mother’s for Christmas, leaving Jonathon behind?

This is my first Trista Ann Michael’s story, which I enjoyed though some aspects were completely unexpected. If you’re not one for ménage plotlines, then this novella is not for you. Sex between Caitlyn and the two brothers is very hot and explicitly described. Make no mistake, just because Jonathon is the brother Caitlyn is most attracted to, doesn’t mean she isn’t responsive or receptive to Tim. After all, the ménage was her idea. Similarly, just because Jonathon has feelings for Caitlyn, doesn’t mean he is unwilling to let Tim have sex with her – just this one off weekend, anyway. After all, the brothers have participated in ménages before. Though rather short and covering a small time span, the author has interwoven quite a number of different sexual circumstances and activities. In this tale there are ménages, anal sex, oral sex, some mild bondage and some mild flogging, though this last one is not described in much detail. There is not, however, any m/m action, ! perhaps disappointing for some, a relief for others; keep in mind the two are brothers. Overall, this is an enjoyable tale with a slight Christmas theme and adequate character development, which really can be read at any time of the year. Caitlyn’s increased self-confidence in her sexuality is a key part of the story, and it is great to behold. If ménages are your cup of tea and you don’t mind a little experimentation, then this is one you should snap up quick.
