Vixen Virgins

Vixen Virgins – Two great stories in one.

The Outlaw’s Virgin by Beth Williamson

Lady Margaret Travers has been contracted to marry the Earl of Lowndes since she was a child. She and her sister Millicent are traveling to meet their future husbands. The last thing on the planet Maggie wants to do is be forced into an arranged marriage. So, when the opportunity arises to escape from the marriage, Maggie takes it. She just did not expect the opportunity to arrive in the shape of a Texas Bandit with smoldering good looks and attitude. Brit Spalding, the runaway English Lord and bandit, is only too aware who Maggie is. He has no intention of marrying her. Maggie does not know his past or that he is her intended husband. But firm intentions and escalating passions clash as both Maggie and Brit unwittingly fall in love.

The Sheriff’s Vixen by Robin Danner

Lady Millicent Travers waits alone and penniless in Beaumont, Texas, for the arrival of her sister. Millie, like her sister, is running away from an arranged marriage. She has no intention of conforming to anyone’s rules. When Millie meets Sheriff Ben Spalding, she is instantly irritated by his bossy manner. Ben doesn’t care for the argumentative little rich girl that he feels honor bound to protect. Millie likes to flout authority and Ben isn’t about to let her run roughshod over him. Neither of them wants to be attracted to the other but passion overrules common sense as they fall wildly in love. Unbeknownst to either of them, Millie has unwittingly run into the arms of the unknown fiancé she was trying to escape, Lord Benjamin Franklinton, the Sheriff of Beaumont.

I loved these sisters. They are funny, smart and strong. Neither woman is willingly to compromise. They know what they want and are prepared to fight to get it. The men they are destined to love are tender, passionate and strong, but totally confused by the women in their lives. It’s a case of irresistible forces meeting immoveable objects and the resulting confusion it creates. Both stories in Vixen Virgins made me laugh. That’s always a bonus in any romance novel as we all know love is never simple or straight forward. If you like your books are laced with laughter, old fashion true romance and sweet eroticism, you will enjoy reading Vixen Virgins.
