Christmas Carol
Jackson Parker and his dad had not gotten along or really talked since Jackson’s mother died when he was ten. They never celebrated Christmas or had a tree after she died so Jackson wasn’t surprised by the lack of decorations when he came home to plan his dad’s memorial service. However, he is surprised by the sexy neighbor Carol, who turns him on more than anyone has in two years and insists that his dad was a good man that loved him.
As Jackson learns more about his father, he starts thinking that he was wrong not to try to work out the problems between them sooner and he starts getting closer to Carol. Can a relationship work between Jackson and Carol or is it just grief that’s drawing them together?
Christmas Carol is a delightful treat! This wonderful tale flows along smoothly and has everything you could want in a great story. Jackson and Carol are great characters that are well defined and completely engaging. Jackson has come back home to bury his dad and discovers how lonely and isolated his life has become. Carol had befriended Jackson’s dad and had depended on their friendship to dispel some of the loneliness of her own life. I enjoyed watching Jackson and Carol come together and learn to trust in one another while learning to love again. Christmas Carol is a heartwarming tale that you will not want to miss!
