Blood Touch - Welcome to the Gratista Clan by Cinseare B. Santiago revolve around the two main characters, Alexandra and Dantalion. Alexandra is a quiet college student that doesn’t quite fit into the average student’s extracurricular activities (Partying!!). She has few friends and no trust in guys. Even though she longs for someone to sweep her off her feet, she is scared to trust again. During her usual Sunday night trip to the laundromat she meets Dantalion, a dark and mysterious man. Little does she know, Dantalion is a vampire. He is immediately captivated by her and wants to get to know her better. He spends time finding out where she lives and what she does with her time. He even spends time watching her through the windows of her bedroom!! He then sets up a situation where she will think he has car trouble and needs to use a phone. After a very erotic scene, Dantaloin makes her forget him hoping she will find him “with her soul”. Dantalion has only been a vampire for a few years and he still possess all of his human needs for love and companion ship. He is looking for someone to spend eternity with. The other vampires do not understand this. Alexandra wakes up confused thinking something happened, but she is not sure if this is just a dream. This leaves her confused and longing for something or someone. The whole thing comes to a head on Halloween when she meets other vampires (without knowing it) and starts to remember more about Dantalion. Her feelings finally draw her to him and then real problems begin. She learns that Dantalion has been accused of murdering a vampire and the other vampires are trying to kill him. Alexandra’s friends get pulled into the fray. The world of theVampires is very different and Alexandra has to learn who her enemies and friends are.

The budding relationship between Alexandra and Dantalion is beautiful to watch. Even
though she is scared she is willing to try again. After she has her memories, she yearns
to remember what she thinks was a dream while hoping it was real. All this time Dantalion is hoping and praying she will find him. Add to the factor that he is on the run, this story is action packed and flows well.

This book is part one of a series and it is just getting started when it ends. This keeps the reader on hold until the next book is released. I am very interested about what happened to Alexandra and Dantalion. Will Dantalion return to the Vampire Clan? Will Alexandra be able to adjust to her new world Will her friends get out alive? I will be waiting to have these and other questions answered with the next installment.
