Forgotten Song by Ally Blue is an erotic love story revolving around Ben and Eric. Ben first meets Eric when he is kicking the crud out of another guy. The important thing that you need to know is that Eric is a very small guy and the man he was fighting with was over six feet and built like a brick building. Also, if you can look beyond the attitude and DIRT, Eric is very cute with light brown hair and blue eyes. Ben thought that Eric was the “prettiest” thing that he had seen in a long time. Eric freaks out when Ben grabs him and then he passes out. Ben has no idea what is happening and gets very worried about Eric. Ben has a nurturing nature and decides to take Eric home after he refuses to go to the hospital. Eric mistrusts Ben from the start and he has a very hard time earning Eric’s trust. Ben figures that when he begins to trust him he will open up. Slowly Eric begins to trust Ben and he starts to open up to him. Then he learns that Eric has had a very rough life and he yearns to give him the love and support that Eric needs. As the story continues to unfold you learn that there are horrible things in Eric’s past that threaten to not only pull the two of them apart, but also threaten their very lives. Eric has to learn to overcome his past to ensure his future.

There are many twists in the story line that keeps the reader holding her/his breath until the plot line unfolds. The interaction between Eric and Ben is sweet, but also has a bite! You can see how Ben is drawn to Eric and wants to be his everything. As Eric learns that he can trust Ben and then others he gains insight into his past and even himself. This is a very poignant love story that will be one of my favorites. I thought the fight in the beginning was a great way to capture the reader’s interest and hold it for the entire book. I had to read it front to back without stopping and I loved it. This is a must read. I hope the writer will continue with this venue of books.
