Only he doesn’t realize danger lurks in some unexpected places and that his heart wasn’t quite as cold towards Elizabeth as he thought. Somewhere along the way, in the midst of danger, Marcus’ heart decides that loving Elizabeth for a short time is not an option. Can Marcus win Elizabeth’s heart and save her from the unknown dangers surrounding them? Does her ex-husband’s diary hold all the answers that he needs?

Ask For It is this reader’s first Sylvia Day story and it will definitely not be my last. Instantly grabbing my attention and holding it captive until the very last page, I was amazed at the engaging plot, suspenseful elements, and emotional journeys that Marcus and Elizabeth endured. Marcus is a man of honor that fights for what he wants, even when he isn’t quite sure what he is up against. Elizabeth is a strong-willed woman with a compassionate and loving spirit underneath. Together the two characters make one beautiful couple that will have readers hoping that along the way they will forever be inseparable. Their desire for one another is sizzling hot and tender at the same time. The wonderful imagery within these pages will take the readers back to a time in history where men ride in on horseback to save the day. With many additional characters, there will be a character in this tale for everyone whether it is Elizabeth’s devoted brother or friendly sister-in-law, to the mysterious outlaw that seems to be in the background at each development along the way. Sylvia Day is an author that this reader will be watching for and this story, Ask For It, is definitely worth spending a weekend engrossed within its covers. 5 Angels!
