Now he was back in her life asking for help, and she couldn’t resist, even though she didn’t want to get hurt again. However he would only divulge information that he thought she needed and wouldn’t open up to her about anything else.

Although Philipa is helping Nick solve the murder, neither knows what readers know. Things with Lucia are not what they seem. Will Philippa and Nick figure out what happened before it’s too late?

Claire Cross has written a winner! Third Time Lucky is the best romance contemporary this reviewer has read in a while. It has everything one would want in a book: comedy, romance and one hot sexy hero. Nick Sullivan is every woman’s dream except for his nomadic tendencies. Philippa is a heroine readers will easily relate to. She has constantly dealt with a weight problem and has an extremely dysfunctional family. The scene between Nick and a possible suitor for Philippa, Jeffrey McCallister, will have readers laughing and cheering. The secondary characters also make this story perfect. Elaine, Philippa’s business partner, is a hoot, and readers will love her. Philippa’s family add a spice all their own to this story. Third Time Lucky is the perfect book to sit down and devour.
