Giving Chase
Magaret “Maggie” Wright is content with her life in her small town. Being a teacher and being with her friends are the most important things in her life. The Chase brothers are legend and Maggie finds herself attracting their attention. After dating Shane, the oldest, Maggie realizes that Kyle is a better choice for her. Things between Kyle and Maggie are going really well when someone begins terrorizing Maggie. Kyle and his family quickly step in to protect Maggie. While friends and Kyle’s family try to protect Maggie, she must confront her own family situation. Having a man like Kyle in her life is the best thing that has happened to Maggie and she is afraid that it may all come to an end.
Kyle Chase is attracted to Maggie Wright but his brother saw her first. When his brother decides not to pursue a relationship with Maggie, Kyle is ready to pursue her. Maggie is an amazing woman and Kyle does not intend to let her slip through his fingers. But convincing Maggie of his sincerity is going to take a lot of work and Kyle is up to the challenge. Kyle realizes that Maggie has been hurt in the past and will do all he can to prevent her from being hurt again. A menace has Maggie in his sights and Kyle will do whatever it takes to protect her.
Lauren Dane’s Giving Chase is an exhilarating ride from the first word. Maggie and Kyle are a wonderful couple that complement each other perfectly. While Maggie and Kyle are very passionate, friendship and respect are the cornerstone of their relationship. The mix of romance and mystery is perfect as Maggie and Kyle work together to insure their budding relationship. I enjoyed how Maggie had to confront both her attacker and her family in order to realize just how strong she is emotionally and mentally. The entire Chase family are wonderful characters that I hope to see again.
