Lina Brennen is leaving Chicago and once again looking for a place to call home; if there is such a place for someone like her. Being blessed with the ability of a faith healer but also cursed with being run out of every town she comes to, Lina’s life has been filled with loneliness, misunderstanding, and the desire to have someone to love. Now Lina travels with her spiritual guide, Granna Merona, only Merona is quite a prankster that tends to draw more attention to Lina than she would like. Merona only adds to Lina’s frustrations when she is determined that Lina needs to settle in a small rural town in Arizona. Lina disagrees with her the moment she pulls off the highway and plans to get gas and hit the road again.

Lina’s plan however is dashed the moment she lands in the arms of the sheriff. Instantly attracted to him, Lina finds herself wanting to stay in Unegi, Arizona and hoping maybe she won’t be leaving anytime soon. Lina strikes up a friendship with Sheriff Trent Godfrey and eagerly hopes the sparks that fly between them will become more. However Trent has been burned in the past by a ‘city’ girl and refuses to except anything that involves the Spirit World. Has Lina finally landed in the town she can call her home? Could Trent be someone to share her life with who will accept her for who and what she really is or will his past keep them apart?

Leanne Karella and Vivienne King have done a tremendous job creating a story riddled with humor, emotions, and characters reader will treasure. Lina is a compassionate, tender-hearted, and unique woman that this reader loved instantly. Trent is a devoted father, loving son, and dedicated sheriff. The secondary characters are wonderful additions to this story. Morena is a fun-filled woman out to enjoy what she can as a spirit, but loves Lina through and through. Readers in turn will love her. Jessica and Abby offer opportunities to learn more about Trent’s personality and past. These are just a few of the secondary characters that make up this amazing cast. Adding the supporting players with the instantaneous chemistry between Lina and Trent and readers will find everything they look for in a romance story. This was this reader’s first exposure to both Leanne Karella and Vivienne King and I assure you it will not be my last. Witch Hunt is a superb love story incorporating multiple emotions with some paranormal elements, which grant readers a sensational experience upon completion. You’ll definitely want to pick up a copy, it is definitely a keeper. 5 Angels!
