Now You See It…

Sarah Santorelli has a problem, her grandmother and her friend Emily want to take a cruise, but Emily’s grandson doesn’t think it’s a good idea. Sarah has a solution, talk him into it. When she comes face to face with Emily’s grandson, she knows that it won’t be as easy as she originally thought. Emily’s grandson is none other than her old boyfriend, Anthony Mancini. When Anthony had chosen his job over her one too many times, she dumped him.

Now that she’s been tricked into taking a cruise with him she’s finding it hard to reconcile the laid back man he is now to the over achieving workaholic he had been while they were dating. Not only are her feelings for him an issue, but her kooky aunt has done it again. She’s cast a spell that has interesting results. Will it be enough to help Sarah and Anthony mend fences?

Anthony knows that he messed up with Sarah, but he also knows that his successes aren’t as sweet without her by his side. With the help of two meddling old ladies and a spell that’s whisking Sarah’s clothes off he hopes that love will raise its head again.

This was a great read that had me laughing, crying, and sighing over the many hijinks that Sarah and Anthony found themselves in. Teresa Roblins did an amazing job of pulling together two people that should never have been apart in the first place. Not only were her characters engaging and real, but the descriptions of the various places they visited were awesome. I especially enjoyed the older ladies’ description of the nude beach they visited. Even though this is a follow up to Hocus Pocus, I did not read them in order and feel that nothing was lost. I did go and buy a copy of Hocus Pocus and look forward to reading about the first of Aunt Lilly’s infamous spells.
