Always is a delightful short story about a female vampire with a heart that is pure and innocent compared to those she is surrounded by and a shining hero that comes to her rescue. Troy’s dedication to saving Bethany is remarkable and something he does not shy away from regardless of what he comes up against. Bethany finds herself struggling with her emotions for Troy and her uncertainty with being a vampire. The attraction between the two of them is heartfelt, tender, and a pleasure to experience. Amanda Sidhe has done a wonderful job creating depth, conflict, and passion within a few pages. 5 Angels!
