Ends of the Earth: Interlude Two of the RuneQuest

Ends of the Earth: Interlude Two of the RuneQuest continues Keira Ramsay’s tradition of superb storytelling. I thoroughly enjoyed the first tale in her RuneQuest series, and Ends of the Earth is just as rewarding.

Chloe Saint James is in exile. She searches alone in some of the most desolate reaches of Earth, settings that seem to mirror her heart. Until she finds the Rune of Domain, she refuses to return to the Fae. When her goal is within reach, Logan Whitefeather appears on the scene. This handsome stranger is hunting for something as well. His presence stirs a reaction in Chloe, and she finds herself hungering for his touch. Can she afford to give in to passion when the Rune is within reach and her enemies are closing in around her?

Ends of the Earth is the second book in Keira Ramsay’s RuneQuest series, and even though it connects to Baptism by Fire, it is a complete story that can be read alone. However, after reading both stories, I would definitely recommend you buy both. Ms. Ramsay’s style and imagination ensure readers won’t be disappointed. Ends of the Earth portrays two strong individuals, each searching for atonement. When Chloe and Logan’s paths cross, readers are rewarded with passion and power. Their remorse and drive to make amends is touching. The plot is rich in magic, action, and conflict. The pacing is sure to keep readers interested while also letting them appreciate the love scenes and friendship between Chloe and Logan. Ms. Ramsay brings things to a wonderful close and sets the stage for what should be another great addition to this series. I look forward to the next installment.
