Lex Warden needs to find Gabriel, a missing member of his pack, in order to determine who has murdered another pack member. Deciding to see if Gabriel’s sister, Ms. Nina Reyes, has any idea where her brother has disappeared to, he finds an uptight woman he would love to set free. Determined to find Gabriel and unable to keep his thoughts from Nina, Lex does what any good enforcer would do: he tails Nina everywhere she goes. When danger strikes, Lex isn’t very far behind and learns that underneath Nina’s appearance is more than he originally thought. This discovery just makes him want her more. Will Lex get Nina to give herself to him? Can he remove the danger surrounding Nina and his pack?

Nina Reyes has spent years trying to stay under the radar without any help from her younger brother, Gabriel. She has cleaned up after him more than once. When a knock at her door brings her face to face with a man that screams trouble, Nina is not surprised to learn he is looking for Gabriel. Desperate to save her brother, Nina does what she can for him. At that moment, Nina finds herself surrounded by danger and Lex coming to her rescue. Now, Nina finds herself in the hands of Lex and those hands are doing things to her body that she is finding hard to resist. Can Nina keep her emotions in check in order to find out who placed her brother in danger? Will Lex be more than Nina can resist?

Enforcer offers readers an action-packed plot, tantalizing passion, emotional struggles, and an unknown dangerous element in the middle of it all. Lex is an enforcer, a pure alpha male when it comes to his desire to have what he wants, with a tenderhearted side that few have the opportunity to see; a wonderful character that I immediately loved. Nina is a strong-willed woman used to cleaning up after her brother who also wants a life to be proud of. She is believable and had me smiling more than once at the antics she leashed out to those around her. Both characters are riddled with pride and are a perfect match for each other. The secondary character of Cade, the alpha leader, gives readers another opportunity to love Lex and Nina and even tries to claim a piece of their heart. Cade succeeded in the quest where this reader is concerned. I can only hope that Lauren Dane revisits the Cascadia Wolves with a tale for Cade. Enforcer is a wonderful werewolf story that readers can not go wrong with: it is definitely worth taking the time to read. 5 Angels!
