Jack of Diamonds is an erotic paranormal book by Leigh Ellwood. The book begins when a vampire named Argent finds Ruby, a gypsy woman who is a psychic. Argent has searched for her to find the whereabouts of another vampire upon whom he wants to take revenge for killing a friend of his. He soon finds that Ruby has more knowledge than he thinks and feels free to use it to twist the future to fulfill her vision. He soon gets not only the info he needs, but also the fulfillment of his every desire. Ruby, in return, obtains what she needs to ensure the outcome of the future that she sees.

Next up is Jack Thurmond, a young man who believes that he remembers his past life and is looking for his old lover, a vampire named Lars. In the past, Jack has had dreams about Lars, but last Halloween, Jack believes that the interaction between himself and Lars was a fulfillment of every dream that he has ever had. Jack has traveled to Paris to find him in a boarding house run by a woman named Flora. The first meeting between Jack and Lars was the fulfillment of every dream that the two of them could ever have. The readers soon find that there are snakes in this perfect setting and that Jack and Lars must figure out who is friend and who is foe before they can find a way to their happy ending.

Will Jack and Lars be together always? What is happening between Argent and Ruby? Could there be any other individuals bent on separating Lars and Jack forever? To find out the answers you need to read this book.

Ms. Ellwood has created a very entertaining and erotic book that was fun to read. The characters were fascinating and well written. This reader hopes to read more books of this genre by Ms. Ellwood.
