Cimmerean League: Revelations takes heroes and transforms them beyond the traditional and into the Cimmerean League.

Readers are brought immediately into the action and skills of this team, specifically the empathic abilities of Vie. As she looks for a woman that has been senselessly kidnapped, Vie’s search uncovers a deadly foe who will stop at nothing to destroy her and the League.

Bolt has watched Vie from afar, always ready to help, but never willing to admit how much he cares. When a shared enemy makes Vie his prime target, Bolt willingly steps into the role of protector. Even as they get to know each other, danger stalks closer. Will their combined strengths be enough to save themselves and the League?

I love the concept of a Cimmerean League, a group of super heroes determined to protect humanity. The execution of the story, while definitely enjoyable, was hard to follow at times and might require some sections to be read more than once. However, the characters more than make up for this deficiency. Vie is a committed, compassionate female character, and yet, it will be Bolt who wins readers over. This man’s feeling for Vie are touching. The patience he displays and the lengths he will go to for her make him memorable. The pacing is quick and the author maintains the tension in the story until the end. I am hoping this is only the beginning of stories about the Cimmerean League members.
