Fire and Ice

Amanda is having the worst night in her life. First, after paying a surprise visit to meet her boyfriend at his cabin, Amanda walks in on him in bed with the blonde bimbo from next door. Then, after leaving the horrific scene at the cabin, Amanda loses control of her car on the cold, icy road and crashes into a tree. And, if that isn’t enough, she is instantly attracted to the stranger who saves her as she escapes the car fire. How can she be strongly attracted to an unknown man minutes after catching her supposed love in the arms of another woman?

For many centuries, Kabhan has been searching for his long lost love – his wife Siobhan, the Princess of the Dragon’s Hearth. And, he has finally found her. She is deep within Amanda. Will Kabhan ever hold his beloved Siobhan in his arms again?

Fire and Ice is a slightly multifaceted novella that focuses on reuniting with a lost love. Although, the plot is easy enough to follow in the beginning, about mid-way through I was somewhat at a loss because the author crafted in a scene that distracted me. I’m not saying this scene wasn’t exciting – it was just a tad confusing. Other than that one minor scene, the storyline flows at a very rapid, smooth pace. The chemistry between the characters is icy hot and sinfully lustful. The sexual encounters are described in great detail and are highly erotic and tremendously passionate in nature. This is my first time experiencing the penmanship of Jodi Lee and I am definitely open to reading more interesting tales from her.
