Elana Del Rio stumbled across something that she shouldn’t have seen whilst walking along the beach late at night. As the cold waters pulled her under and she felt her life ebbing away, unseen hands plucked her to safety. A sea creature whose existence is almost mythical rescues her, but distances himself as much as he can from her. Can Elana warm his cool heart or will he always be separated from humanity?

Sea Sentinel is an interesting mix of fantasy and reality that allows the reader to ponder on what would happen if all the other mythical creatures we have heard so much about are real too. Adrianna Dane has yet again been able to produce wonderful characters with a great amount of depth to them. The veiwpoint shifts between the two main protagonists and as it does, you get to see more into their history and back story allowing you to understand why they act the way they do.

There is just the right mix of romance and suspense leaving the reader on the edge of their seat wondering what will happen next. The m/m scene is handled delicately and adds an extra dimension to the story as do the m/f scenes.

This book is perfect for anyone who wants to curl up and read a hot steamy story with a good dose of suspense, myth and fantasy.
