The Ice Dragon

The Ice Dragon is the third story in the Dragon Knights series.

Roland has set out to gather information in the Northlands only to find himself mortally wounded at the hands of evil warlord. Spiraling to his death, he is saved by another dragon and its Knight. Waking the following day, he is shocked to learn the dragon that saved him is a Northern Ice Dragon, a mere baby one, and his Knight is a woman, a dragon-healing woman. Instantly attracted to her, Roland knows he not only owes her his life but that he wants her in his life forever. Only Roland is more than a dragon, he is a man that can shift into a dragon as well as a man who happens to be the king of all dragons and humans where he comes from.

Lana was taken from her home as a young girl and thrust into a horrible life thanks to a warlord’s greed for power. The only silver lining to her life comes in the form of an orphaned dragon, Tor. Each of them being the only family they know, Lana and Tor look after each other while staying one step ahead of their enemy. When that evil warlord wounds another dragon, the only other one they have ever seen, they instantly come to his aide, saving him from death. Befriending Roland, they learn there is a land to the south that is filled with both humans and dragons. When Roland offers them a place there, they see it as their chance to escape their enemy, live among others like them, and remain close to Roland. Unfortunately, the evil warlord isn’t done with Roland, Lana, or Tor.

Bianca D’Arc has created a wonderful story filled with dragons, knights, and humans who possess unbelievable honor, loyalty, and love for one another. This reader has not read the first two stories in this series and is truly saddened by that error in judgment. From the very first page, I was hooked, instantly bonding with all three characters, and unable to put the book down until the end. I assure you I will be reading the first two installments immediately. Tor is a loveable dragon with a heart the size of Texas, and a genuine personality. He is one of a kind. Lana is a compassionate woman, a determined fighter, and a treasure. Roland is an utterly intriguing dragon and man. With tender yet erotic passion, heart-wrenching moments of suspense and desperation, The Ice Dragon is a tremendous story that I will read more than once. Job well done, Bianca D’Arc, you have earned yourself a new fan today. 5 Angels!
