Jarred Todd’s dreams were full of storms and of his coyote man since returning home for his mother’s funeral. Night after night dreaming of this one man, but he wasn’t staying, couldn’t stay. It had been storming the night he had freed a coyote from a trap on the ranch.

It had been storming that night when Adam had first met Jarred Todd. Caught in a trap, there was no way his pack could help him. His cries for help brought Jarred out in the wind and the rain. Instead of running off, panic had him snapping and biting the man who had freed him, and forever binding them soul to soul.

Meeting up with Adam again had been purely by accident as well as an eye opener for Jarred. His Adam was the coyote in his dreams, the shifter who seduced him every night. Confused and unprepared Jarred has to come to terms with the fact that his dream lover is real and isn’t going away.

For such a short story Coyote Rain packs a punch! Full of action and heat, I enjoyed this story from the first page. I found Jarred’s confusion understandable, while Adam was set on making sure he never had to live without his mate again. Ms. Black has written a heck of a story, which I could recommend to anyone.
