Grace Michaels is having more than her fair share of accidents, so much so that she believes someone wants her dead. However due to her clumsiness in the past, no one want to believe her. Ren Morello is a man that is making Grace want to just forget about her research just to be with Ren. He is making her wish that she were someone else besides just a professor to be wanton and desirable like he see’s her as. However her sensible mind is stopping her from beginning a relationship with him because deep down she knows he will never look at a dull-looking woman like her. However, looks are deceiving and Ren is in for a surprise when the sexual attraction and passion between them come full force.

Ren Morello has been burned before by a woman. Grace is not his type yet something in her always brings him back in her life, making sure he’s there to protect her no matter the circumstances. However, neither of them expects the explosive passion between them. It makes each wonder what exactly they are attracted to.

Grace Under Pressure by Melissa Schroeder is at its best with so much sexual attraction yet it has suspense in it that will surprise every reader. Reading about Grace Michaels is like reading about a young woman who just works too hard, not appreciating the sexy neighbor that moved in next to her. Sexy police chief Ren Morello is one man that was making me drool from reading about him, making me wonder when Grace would see what a wonderful guy he is. I loved it for its action and heat. This is a book that will make you not want to stop reading it. Great job Melissa Schroeder.
