Brad Compton, aka Molten Man, is ready for a woman that will love him for the landscaping architect he is and not his alter ego superhero. On a stroll home, Brad finds a woman, Paige Weller, in need of saving only this time Brad saves her as Brad. Instantly attracted to each other, Brad and Paige become friends quickly, enjoying each other’s company, and not quite sharing every small detail about themselves. When the secrets they keep from one another come out, will Brad and Paige continue to have an intense, explosive relationship or will it blow up in their faces?

The Adventures of Molten Man (No. 1) brings a cast of superheroes together tempting readers with some danger seeking men and their everyday personas. Brad is a wonderful character that wants what everyone does: someone to like him for him and not what his job might be. Paige is an interesting woman that finds herself in quite the spot. This reader found secondary characters that made her laugh and smile along the way and leaving her hoping for a sequel centered around one of them. Bernadette Gardner was able to create a fast-paced, delightful story in a short number of pages with both physical and emotional dangers along the way. 4 Angels!
