It is said that reformed rakes make the best husbands; I wonder if the same is true of reformed bad boys of every era. Complete with not one but two romantic conflicts in the form of a vindictive, power-hungry former on-again-off-again girlfriend and a caring (and fascinating) secondary character, Sunrise Lady packs a powerful emotional punch. Chad’s soft heart is covered by a tough exterior; he’s been hurt and uses the fast lifestyle to try to run from his problems. He made me melt – I’m such a sucker for the wounded bad boy. Sasha was likeable and sassy, yet tender. Sunrise Lady showcases great plot layers, wonderful dialogue and a truly entertaining story. Four Angels!
