Lunar Mates: Book 2: Bad Moon Rising
Trey Williams left his pack to help his friend, Darius Stewart, start a new pack in a quiet community of Alabama only to have an outlaw werewolf show up. Trying to hunt down the mysterious stranger threatening his home, Trey is relentless and determined to get his man. When he lays his eyes on bakery owner, Tara Burke, Trey is left fighting for both justice and companionship. His peaceful existence has just gotten a lot less peaceful.
Tara Burke has watched her cousin take a man and not just any man, a werewolf. Lucky for Tara, her bakery is enough to keep her happy. Until the moment Trey walks into her bakery and life. When she learns that she is his mate, Tara has just the right recipe in mind for her and Trey. One that will ensure they stay apart and unmated, leaving her free to live the life she wants.
Bad Moon Rising is the second installment in the Lunar Mates series by Loribelle Hunt. After having read the first installment, Under Cover of the Moon, this reader was itching to grab the second story and definitely not disappointed that she did. Tara is a spunky character that readers will wish was their friend. Trey is a take-charge, driven man that goes after what he wants, fighting for it along the way, and determined never to give up until he has what he wants. This reader just loved him. The suspenseful plot that started in Darius and Meg's story is continued in this one, so I would recommend reading this series in order. However, I assure you that readers won't want to miss any of them anyway. This reader’s only dilemma is the waiting for the next installment and trying to decide if it was hotter in Tara's kitchen or bedroom. Loribelle Hunt has done a fabulous job once again. 5 Angels!
