Feral Bachelorism
Brad is a werewolf who has decided that he wants nothing else to do with relationships anymore. One too many heartbreak has made him disillusioned about men and women. Brad just wants to satisfy a few urges and keep going; little does he know that fate has decided to deal him a new hand when he spies a man looking like he has no business being where he is. So Brad decides to alleviate his frustration and pain and picks him to be his playmate for the night.
When Sean decides to hang out with his friends for the evening (after a long debate about his sexual preference) he has no idea that his whole life is about to change. Sean is working on ways to climb the corporate ladder at his job and plans to approach Brad about selling his land. So when a strange man presses a piece of paper into his hand telling him when and where to meet him, he does not realize that it is the very man he has to convince to sell his land.
This story is about finding yourself and learning to love again. It is also about being able to let go of the past for a chance at a better future. These two people must face challenges from within and without. One must come to terms with his own emotions, face his self, and be able to be happy with him. While the other must deal with his past, a betrayal he never expected, and learn to love again.
I loved this story! It has an emotional intensity that I have rarely come across. These two characters are believable and feel very real. They deal with real life issues and emotions. These two people come along wonderfully; a great journey of self-discovery and hope of a new chance in love and life. Not often can an author write a story in this genre and under these types of circumstances and pull it off. In Feral Bachelorism, Lacey Savage pulls it off wonderfully. This is the first time I have read a book by this author and I now look forward to more of her works!
