L Rosario's Bound By Blood is a captivating novella that held my interest throughout. The storyline was intriguing, though nothing completely unforeseen came about. I loved the way the tale was told in first person, by both of the characters, Ivy and Benedict, each in turn. I had the feeling that the characters were talking to me, which had the effect of engaging me in the storyline. Excellently done by L Rosario. Both characters were fairly well developed, and the plot flowed smoothly and felt complete. Bound By Blood did not seem rushed or as if there was something missing. The sex between the characters is described in detail and is sizzling. I have thoroughly enjoyed this tale by L Rosario and am definitely open to reading more from this author.
