Eternity

Eva is in love. Her problem is, the man she is in love with, ET, is her fantasy lover. He doesn't exist in reality. At twenty-five, Eva has experienced many carnal delights – in her dreams. In reality, she remains a virgin. Tired of existing rather than living, Eva says goodbye to ET, intending to find a real flesh and blood man. But will she be able to follow through?

ET is running out of time. He senses that this reincarnation is the last chance for him and Eva to be together. Through many reincarnations over the centuries, since the dawn of time, they have come together and celebrated their love for a short period, before being cruelly yanked apart. Will ET be able to find Eva and convince her that their love exists – in reality?

Twyla Dawn McNight's Eternity is an unusual short story that is quite touching. At the heart of the tale is the belief that love can, and does, exist forever, beyond death, through other lifetimes. For anyone who has loved and lost, this can be a rather comforting thought. Though the characters and the plot are not overly developed, this great quick read is enjoyable and entertaining. You will not find yourself bored by Eternity. Rather, you'll have a light feeling in your heart and a hope that you will be so lucky as to find a love as strong as Eva's and ET's. There are some love scenes, described in tender detail. The love between the characters shines through the story. If you believe in a forever love, you will enjoy Twyla Dawn McNight's Eternity.
