Unexpected Love: Nothing to Lose
Bailey Montgomery is back to her old hometown to close up her childhood home. She never knew her mother was sick until she told Bailey about the cancer. She always thought her mother would be cured but never knew how far her disease was. The one thing she never expected were the friends her mother knew. Most of all Doug Kenny and his family, talk about persistent friends. Though they were there for her mother they had no reason to butt into her life. The house needs to be sold and Bailey needs to leave before she does something crazy. However, Doug keeps interfering and bringing out the worst in her, something no man has ever done before in her life. All she wants to do is go back to Chicago to her normal life and not deal with her mother’s death. It’s hard to do when Doug and his family keep being there as friends which is something foreign to her friendship.
Doug Kenny has had it with Bailey Montgomery. He’s never spoken so badly about a woman yet she’s bringing out the worst in him. Doug and his sister took care of her mother when she had Cancer always wondering about the perfect daughter she described her to be. Upon meeting her all he sees is the most ugly and foul-mouthed person to walk on earth. He’s not sure why he’s attracted to her though when each time he’s with her they’re always arguing. Something inside him knows it’s bad to fall for her yet his heart has other plans. All she wants to do is sell the house and leave, all he wants is to keep her in his life forever. Can two stubborn people make a relationship and get past the fighting?
Unexpected Love: Nothing to Lose by Jenna Byrnes is a hot erotic story that every reader will want to read for it’s packed with heat and two people so stubborn to see that it’s more than sexual attraction. I loved the fact that even though the attraction is there these two sounded like a married couple always arguing. Yet when they made up watch out and grab some ice cubes for you will need it. Doug is a man who any woman will want for he’s handy but also reliable and dependent when a girl needs him. I loved that he cared so much about other people but somehow couldn’t figure out about Bailey. Sometimes I liked her and sometimes no, because she always backed away from the friendship that was there in Doug’s family. Other than that I loved Jenna Byrnes’ creative mind.
