Brett owns On the Edge, a wildly popular bar and dance club that is proving to be a hang-out for vampires and humans alike. He’s so busy that he’s interviewing bartender candidates left and right to keep up with the increased traffic flow in his club. He and his girlfriend Lisa, a vampire, spend what little time not consumed by the business together in inventive bed play.

Lisa does have some boundaries; she refuses to feed on Brett, even as much as he would like her to. She hunts her food in the club, and one evening, comes upon a blast from her past – a vamp named Leo – who infinitely complicates matters between her and Brett. Can she salvage something out of the jealousy that flares between Brett and Leo?

On the Edge is a book about sex, blood and the little green monster, envy. There’s a journey of sorts here, from attraction to acceptance to passion, and Kallysten delivers some of the most erotic M/M stuff I’ve seen yet! Characters are well crafted, each having a distinct and unique set of traits, fears and turn-ons. It was fascinating to watch Leo coming back into Lisa’s bed, and seeing the changes in her through his eyes, while it was delicious to see Brett and Lisa move to another level in their relationship. On the Edge is over the top as far as heat, and Kallysten adds a sweet little twist on the end that you’re sure to enjoy! Five Angels!
