ShadowsForge II: Trials on Tour

Geoff Richards is the ultimate bad boy. He is the lead singer for the British rock band ShadowsForge and is more than willing to use his fame in order to sample as many women as he can. When the group embarks on yet another tour, they find themselves in the sights of an angry man insisting that his life and love were ruined by one of the men. He’s not sure who sullied his woman, and so stalks the entire band. Until he focuses on the ‘Master Heartbreaker’, Geoff himself.

On the road with ShadowsForge are the intriguing women behind the scenes; Alexis Synclair, the wife of the dreamy lyricist behind most of ShadowsForge’s hits, Valerie Leonard, the journalist who will write the ‘true’ story behind the band, and fresh-faced Diane Starling, the newest member of the troop and in charge of making their costumes a reality.

In this dangerous time the group solidifies their family bond and love begins to flourish.

Jena’ Galifany perfectly grasps the debauchery and savoir-faire of the eighties in this, her second installment involving the members of ShadowsForge. Geoff Richards is the perfect rock bad boy, snarly, yet jocular, and a roving eye that delights in the female form. He is quickly taken to task and whipped into shape by the inspiring heroine in this book. I enjoyed the give and take between the two and refuse to say who the lucky lady is, especially because we find ourselves wondering at times if she really is who we think she is. I look forward to reading the rest of the band’s stories.
