Half Moon Rising

Half Moon Rising is a novel of suspense and excitement that grab you from page one. Margo Lukas has created an awesome story of two becoming one. C.J. Duncan is more than she appears. A private investigator in Minneapolis who locates missing children, she has skills no one is aware of. Startling visions begin interfering with her work and her Tarot reading roommate Roz believes the cause is because she doesn’t know her father. So C.J. has begun a hunt for personal reasons. Her quest takes her to Seattle where she finds a clue and meets a man who has a scent that drives her wild and takes her mind from the hunt. Trey is a werewolf, he feels he was born deficient and is searching for a way to take back his powers. He is at odds with the Alpha of the pack, believing the new breeding policy for the pack is wrong and is striving to find a way to protect the pact and his family.

This book had it all, suspense, excitement, and passion, oh yeah, the passion. Half Moon Rising was a lovely romp through the paranormal, suspending belief of the everyday to imagine the possibilities. The gift these two characters give one another is the power of love. C.J. and Trey definitely fit all the criteria of two becoming one. Margo Lukas has given it all to us, a little erotica, and a shapeshifter with a little magic thrown in for good measure. I really enjoyed the story and hope that the secondary characters, Mario, and Sebastian might have a story of their own one day. HINT, HINT.
