Vandar’s War is the 6th book in the series More Than Male by Reese Gabriel. Reeva and Vandar are both alpha personalities and conflicts arise at their first meeting. Both are genetically enhanced in strength, intuition and other skills. Reeva and Vandar are immediately attracted to each other but brush it off to other emotions as they have been engendered to be attracted to Mems and Obedients respectively. Vandar is commander of an off world base with responsibilities to protect Earths outer defenses. Reeva is a psychosensologist who will study Guardian psychosensory reactions under field conditions. As Reeva fights to get to know Vandar he struggles with his thoughts of her, refusing to let her get too close and expose himself to emotions he is not ready to deal with. Reeva finds herself jealous of an Obedient and yearns to explore her unknown submissive side with Vandar.

Vandar’s War can be read as a stand alone, but why would you want to! Reese Gabriel has developed a world that I would love to visit. Her primales are strong alpha men, stubborn yet tender who bond forever with the women they love. Her fems are strong physically and emotionally, and her Obedients seem like very lucky women. This book has a well thought out plot with light BDSM. This book will have you laughing and shivering … I highly recommend this book and this series.
