Alliance: Diplomatic Relations is a homoerotic sci-fi romance.

Rulik has always been a disappointment to his father, the king of Ziganese, but he’s hoping that if the diplomatic talks with the Mhajavi result in an alliance he will at least be able to be proud of himself. The diplomatic talks are threatened when he invades Mhajavi space to rescue a science vessel under attack. Rulik hopes that his actions will re-enforce the point of needed military cooperation for protection and not viewed as an invasion of sovereign space. What he is not bargaining for is meeting a man that pushes all the right buttons!

Shayan is the protector of an important diplomat from Mhajavi on her way to the diplomatic talks. He knew it was foolish to try and travel in a science vessel, but he just does what his boss demands and cleans up the aftermath. Luckily, when they are attacked a Ziganese ship is close enough to come to their rescue. At this point Shayan just wants to get to their destination in one piece. When Shayan lays eyes on Captain Rulik all he wants is to get to know Rulik better.

Alliance: Diplomatic Relations is an incredibly entertaining book. The interaction between the characters is sweet and erotic and you won’t be able to help becoming involved with Rulik and Shayan. They both are very appealing as alpha males who are comfortable expressing their emotions. The story is fast paced and compelling, while the sensual scenes turn up the heat, but be ready for a surprise twist and a small cliff-hanger at the end of the book. Lyndi Lamont creates a wonderful world that you will want to dive into. I will certainly be looking for more books from Lyndi Lamont.
